They say that there is no place like Halkidiki. The region has the perfect combination of natural setting complemented by the rich culinary fare of the region and the living religious traditions of its people. Here you can taste the flavors of local gastronomy, experience the spirituality of religious traditions and monasteries, feel the openness and hospitality of the locals and explore an unspoiled landscape through a wide range of outdoor activities.

In the Kassandra region, where Possidi is located, we recommend to visit the following places:
- Athitos village
- Sani area
- Egeopelagitika beach where the horizon stretches into the distance offering a view of Mount Olympus and has a breathtaking sunset
- Have a drink or a coffee in the morning in the picturesque Villa Stasa Sea bar in Agia Paraskeui
- Kassandrino Village for some hiking and eat some good food
If you plan to come for more days, we would recommend to visit Sithonia if you have time. You can rent a boat in Vourvourou and explore Diaporos island and Drenia, visit the old town of Nikiti, visit the regional vineyards and wineries and have some ouzo and seafood in Porto Koufo. There are also various beaches you can visit, sandy ones, to enjoy their stunning landscape and others rocky enough, to explore their wild beauty.

Some that we suggest are:
- Spathies beach close to Kalogria beach
- Kavourotrypes beach, known as Portokali (Orange beach)
- Tristinika beach where there is the Ethnik beach bar
- Kalamitsi beach with plenty of water sports activities and 3 or 4 taverna where you can eat typical Greek meals
- Agios Ioannis beach, a golden sandy beach with crystal waters
- Kriaritsi beach, a sandy one with great view but deep waters
- Porto Carras beach where you can visit Kohi beach bar with soft white sand and crystal blue waters
- Elia beach, a narrow, sand and pebble mixed beach in the western part of Sithonia coastline
